On Katie's birthday, I took her out of school
in the early afternoon so we could drive down
to the Department of Motor Vehicles where she
could get her provisional driver's license.
Katie has her signed paper from the high school
that says she passed the driver's education
class and has had the appropriate time
of practice driving with her instructor.
After doing all the paperwork inside, Katie
walked out with a brand new license.
Ready to hit the road!
Look at me, I am actually driving!
Like my new wheels? Yeah, right.
That evening we all went out to dinner
to celebrate Katie's birthday and this car
was parked next to ours in the lot.
Never pass up a good photo op.
