On Christmas morning we decided to have a nice breakfast, go to church and then come home to open presents.
Heidi made us crepes and they were delicious.
We also had scrambled eggs, bacon, fruit and of course all the fixin's that go with building your own crepes.
The stockings hanging for those of us still here. There were stockings for me, Heidi, Katie and the cat, Cortez. Brian and his fiancé came for Christmas for two weeks also. Yep, you read that right, Brian is engaged now to his girlfriend, Brittany.

The Shades came down to visit us for a week beginning on December 26. Isabelle is shooting the camera the 'shaka' while riding the wooden horse that I had as a kid.
Brian bought Isabelle and Aubree a big Woody and Buzz Lightyear color book.
The girls got two decorative cans full of individually-wrapped Beany-Baby stuffed animals.

The last few days that the tree was up, it shed a bunch of needles.
Brian helped take down the tree. This was a great Christmas for me and the tree: Sam helped put the tree up, and Brian helped take it down.

Brian and Brittany left on New Year's Eve to fly back out west and the Shades left the day after New Years to go back home. So things are quiet now (and clean too!)
It was a nice Christmas with some of the family visiting and we are glad we got to spend time together.
