Three Days Older Than Dirt (again)

Oh Boy! Another birthday.

Today was my 54th birthday and Heidi

took me out to lunch- at a Mexican

restaurant, of course.

Heidi and Katie had a busy evening, so

we had dinner at home and a quick

birthday party.

I started the chicken on the grill and

Heidi finished it. She's got chicken-cooking

down to a science on the barbecue.

It was raining most of the afternoon,

but that didn't stop us from barbecuing.

We had a nice small Reese's candy bar

chocolate cake with whipped topping.

There were four of us for dinner, so we

just cut the cake in quarters to eat-

it was easier that way.

Our friend Robin came for dinner and cake,

but she was the photographer and therefore

no pictures of her.

Yep, I can still blow out the candles.
