Trip To Sam & Amber's Wedding

Sam got married Friday, August 21, 2009

in the St. George, Utah temple

to his girlfriend, Amber, who is from St. George.

So we gathered family together to make the trip out

west to attend the wedding and reception.

Sue came from Texas to visit us in Delaware in early August,

and her husband, Adam, came a few days after her.

They drove down to Virginia with Katie to visit Michelle, Drew,

Isabelle and Aubree. A few days after that,

Adam, Sue and Katie returned to Delaware

with Michelle and Aubree so they could fly with us

out west to Sam and Amber's wedding.

Drew stayed in Virginia with Isabelle,

since he had school starting up.

And Adam returned to Texas on the same day we

flew out of Philadelphia.

Sam and Amber's wedding was in St. George, Utah-

a two hour road trip north of Las Vegas, Nevada.

So that's where we flew into for the wedding.

Here are a few pictures of the beginning of the trip.

Hey, everything actually fit in our rental van!

We ended up with a new Chrysler mini van

with the stow- away compartments in the back

and in between the front and middle captain's chairs.

We filled those up with all our stuff and probably wouldn't

have fit everything in a regular mini van.

We haven't seen Sam since Christmas,

and haven't seen Brian since the first of June.

And have never met Amber in person!
