Here are some pictures from Sam and Amber's
Wedding and Reception in St. George, Utah.
The pictures in this post are 'unofficial', since
there was a photographer for the wedding and reception.
The 'official' pictures are in the post below.
These are my pictures of Sam and Amber and family
at the wedding and reception.

Sam and Amber were married on Friday, August 21
in the St. George LDS Temple in St. George, Utah.
This is a picture of them exiting the 'brides door'
of the temple after the ceremony.

This picture is of one of Brian's best friends Joseph,
and his mom LaDawn. They moved from Delaware several
months ago and now they live in Seattle.
They were in northern Utah at the time of the wedding and
were able to come down for that and the reception.

This is Paul and Mary, they were married only
two weeks earlier. Sam and Paul are good friends
and went to high school together.

Katie, Brian and Sue.
Nice day, it was only 108 degrees.
Nice because there wasn't any of that
terrible east-coast humidity!

Sam and Brian waiting as pictures were being taken
of everyone in the shade.
Brian was leaving the following Wednesday
for his two-year mission to Santa Rosa, California.

This is the St. George Temple.
It was begun in 1871 and finished in 1877.
It is constructed with native red sandstone
and plastered white.

After the wedding ceremony in the morning,
we had a luncheon that was very nice.
Here are some pictures of the flowers there.

This vase of flowers was up front at
the wedding party table.

Each table had a flower arrangement like this.
She was Sam's seminary teacher during his
high school years.

The reception was held outside at Amber's
parents home. It started at 8:00 pm, so it would
be cool enough to enjoy things outside.
Here is a picture of the cake when it was brought
over in the afternoon.
Heidi and I stayed next door at the neighbors
in their basement apartment.
Katie found a sword in one of the bedroom closets.
I am sure there is a story here, but I am not
sure I want to know about it.

I wear pink).

clothes for the reception.
What a great thing to have on a warm night.
The next day Sam and Amber went to Hawaii
for their honeymoon and the rest of our family
headed south for a few days in Las Vegas
before all of us headed back to our homes.
