Heidi works for the town we live in and every August the town hosts a Town Picnic for employees and their families. They have tons of food and lots of things for the kids to do. They have pony rides, big water slides, all the ice cream you can eat, face painting, caricatures, and other things. The Shades usually time their trips to Delaware to coincide with the picnic. The kids talk about this picnic all year, so we know it is one of their favorite things to do while visiting here. Drew had a conference in Washington D.C. to attend for a few days, so the rest of the family stayed with us.
